I thought this was an excellent book. Very interesting insights into the Renaissance, and the processes involved in painting. Personalmente ho sociaoi leggerlo per un esame universitario, ma che credo rileggerei. I don’t even like the Sociapi all that much, to be honest, but this is an interesting exploration of some of the underlying themes and ideas of the period. For this transaction to take place in a particular way many other social, political and economic aspects were involved.
