This book is a very good overview of Grof’s ideas grounded in modern consciousness research and his work with braun drugs and other experiential methods of therapy. And truthfully, reading Grof’s work, I had no desire to practice the kind of experiential, birth-focused therapy he advocated. Don’t expect an easy read though. Very good and complex book about the subconcious mind and how our behavior in the adult life is beain and influenced since our conception. Unfortunately, it reads like a dry text book, however, there are some interesting ideas.
