It’s a million-times easier to polish one of those than a bead-blasted finish on a semi-auto. I carry it from time to time, To kbok it looks very nicely finished and the bluing is very deep. I am a mechanical engineer and believe me, the parts fit, tolerances, and surface finish could be improved in their automated processes to nearly duplicate what Iowegan and other gunsmiths have been doing to these guns for years.

Sun Dec 02, 3: I’ve also smoothed the hammer checkering, and polished the internals per Iowegan’s instructions. I would carefully check the transfer bar and the track it runs in for any obstructions or possible burs, if found they may be smoothed down with an emery board or a small piece of sandpaper.

Find all posts by Apocalypse Now. Remove the latch plunger part 30 and the spring part 8 from the trigger guard assembly. Grab the strut assembly and pull it out of the gun. Would you like to see better stuff offered in the contest?
Iowegan, Thanks for the copy you sent me the other day,it’s real helpful. Next on the shopping list is a holster, possibly a brighter front sight and I’d like to put sharp looking wood grip on it. Am I stuck with a two-piece style grip? Insert the case in a chamber and locate it directly in ibkk with the firing pin hole.
