Revenge is not only the theme but the driving force behind the actions of almost every character in Confessionsa runaway bestseller when it was first published in Japan in and subsequently in Europe. Confessions is a dark and twisted tale of revenge.
We must look deep within. That’s what made this story refreshing, and so much fun to read. Other Reviews in this Issue. She tells a munato that upends everything her students ever thought they knew about two of their peers, and sets in motion a diabolical plot for revenge. It’s a revenge tale about screwed up, damaged narrators who each ianae to tell a piece of the story, so you won’t have all the pieces of the puzzle until the very end.
I’m definitely going to look for more books by this author. The narration style is very matter-of-fact, with an almost offhand and unemotional tone.
